Please note it is normal to have some minor flaws in the resin such as small lines, waviness in the resin, scuffs, or spots where the iridescent coating doesn't perfectly cover the shell. These flaws do not easily show up in the photographs and may or may not be noticed. This is the nature of the product and the price is adjusted from $12 to reflect these flaws. Customers still love these badge reels so I continue to use the charms regardless; the best way I can think to describe the shell is that it looks slightly used.
